Do your prescribe GLP medications?
We prescribe all FDA-approved weight-loss medications when medically appropriate. After your comprehensive intake visit, your provider will determine whether medication is recommended based on your health history, lab results, and treatment goals.
Our prescribing approach is individualized. When medication is appropriate, we may use options including GLP-1–based therapies or other oral FDA-approved treatments. All prescriptions are made at the discretion of your provider and only when they are considered safe and clinically indicated. Medication is just one tool in our comprehensive program, and we combine it with nutrition support, body composition data, and ongoing medical care so you can achieve sustainable, long-term results.
As a part of the intake process, we will research which medications your insurance plan will cover and submit any necessary prior authorizations. If your insurance doesn’t cover your preferred medication, we will discuss with you the most cost-effective alternatives.
Do all patients have to take a medication?
No, your medical provider and dietitian will work with you to determine if a medication is right for you.
Do you do blood tests?
Yes. You will have a baseline series of blood tests to assess metabolic health, unless you have already had recent bloodwork done through your PCP. The blood tests will be followed over time to assess progress in the program. Blood pressure monitoring will also be an important metric.
Do you offer tele-visits?
Your first intake visit will be in-person. After that, you may switch to tele-visits.
